In my opinion, makeup is a choice and should be seen as one. The drawbacks of makeup culture are often spoken about and the positives, not highlighted nearly as often. Not everyone feels pressured to do makeup. For some people it's a form of self expression, an art form or just something to do for fun.

There is no one correct way of doing makeup, the only right way of doing it is doing whatever makes you feel happy. I chose to make this series to talk about a subject perceived rather seriously, in a way that makes it a little less heavy. Simply put, this series is my fun attempt at showing how I do my makeup and through the same, encourage others to do what makes them feel free, liberated and happy.
